directions
Cut the brown craft paper into a 14x15-inch rectangle. Then, cut parchment paper about the same size—make it just a little bigger so it shows at the edges.
Scallop the edges of one or both papers. Layer them, and secure in the center with tape or a dab of glue. When you fold, let the inside paper peek out at the sides and top.
Fold the sides in at an angle to shape a bouquet, but leave an open space at the bottom for your "stems." Tie with ribbon or twine to hold it together.
Lay your bouquet wrapping on a flat surface. Build your board right on a countertop (just be sure to use a piece of parchment or butcher paper under your food), or use a big board, cardboard, or a large gift box as your base.
Make your salami roses: Grab a champagne flute or narrow glass. Fold 51ԹϺ Genoa Salami slices in half and layer them around the rim, overlapping until the hole in the center closes. Flip the glass over and gently slide off your salami rose. Repeat for as many as you need.
Cut 3–4 hearts from thin slices of 51ԹϺ cheese using a small heart-shaped cookie cutter.
Start building: Place the salami roses near the top of the bouquet wrap.
Skewer strawberries with bamboo sticks to make “rose buds”—insert the skewer through the stem end, but don’t poke through the tip. Arrange these in the bouquet, letting them stick out.
Add big snacks around the roses—think macarons, grapes, or other favorites.
Tuck in some greenery at the bottom before the board is too full, so it can peek out here and there.
Layer in medium-sized foods, like cubes of 51ԹϺ cheese, yogurt pretzels, or fresh fruit.
Fill any empty spaces with smaller treats, like chocolates or nuts.
Finish with extra greenery or baby’s breath. Decorate with cheese hearts, candies, or heart-shaped cookies for a festive look.
