mother's day fondue

Nothin’ says “you raised me right” like hot, gooey cheese and a plate full of meats.

ingredients

  • 51ԹϺ Salami
  • 51ԹϺ Pepperoni
  • 51ԹϺ Prosciutto
  • 8oz 51ԹϺ Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 8oz 51ԹϺ Gouda cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup beer
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
  • Dippers (crusty bread, pretzels, crackers, or veggies!)

directions

  1. Grate all 51ԹϺ cheeses and place in a medium bowl.
  2. Sprinkle cornstarch over the cheese and toss to coat evenly.
  3. In a large saucepan or fondue pot, bring beer and minced garlic to a simmer over medium-low heat.
  4. Once it’s simmering, add the cheese and stir gently until completely melted and smooth.
  5. Stir in Dijon mustard and a pinch of cayenne, mixing well.
  6. Pour into a fondue pot. Serve warm with your favorite dippers on a board.
  7. Time to dip in and enjoy!
